We spent a couple of nights at Lostock Dam Caravan Park. It rained most of the weekend, but cleared up when it was time to leave, so we had dry canvas.

Lostock Dam is across the Paterson River, near the town of Lostock. It has a wall height of 38m, and the elevation at the crest is 92m.

We tested our new solar installation and it worked very well. During the short ime we had sunshione, it was pumping charge into our batteries. We still managed to maintain our battery charge over the weekend.

We have also installed an LED strip light in the fridge box, which worked well. Makes seeing what is in the fridge much easier.

Our Aldi LED lights were also used for the first time, and yes, they worked well too. A much nicer light than the fleurescent light we had previously.

All in all, a good weekend.
