Menindee Tour Day 7
|

Packing up this morning with a very light drizzle. Heavy mist really.

Breakfast, before packing up then coffee and leaving Dunkeld heading up through the Grampians. Cloudier and light rain meant we didn't see much until Halls Gap except for the Silverband Falls…an easy 1.6km return walk into the falls. Lovely to see AND we got to see a mother and baby deer!!

Quick stop at the Brambuk National Park and Cultural Centre for a map of the walks in the area and headed up to Boroka Lookout - pretty spectacular panoramic views, Reeds Lookout - not so spectacular, and then onto Mackenzie Falls and Broken Falls - both lovely to look at and photograph.

Met Daren, a guy travelling the world 'set up for life' on his BMW touring bike. Interesting guy! You can follow his moments at roundthecorner.

Arrived in Hopetoun for the night and had dinner at the Hopetoun Community Hotel.

Stayed at the freecamp next to the lake. Nice camp and reasonably busy.
