I have now installed 2 transceivers in the D-Max:
GME XRS-370 UHF CB Radio
Yaesu FT7800 VHF Amateur Radio
The radios are mounted under the rear seat and extension cables run to the front for remote head/microphone. Cables still need tidying up even though hidden.
I used metal glands to run the coax cables out through the floor before running the coax up to the roof platform where the antennas are mounted.
There is a GME pass-through connector mounted in the centre console fo rthe GME mic, and the FT-7800 is mounted on a plate to a RAM mount bolted to the centre console, A speaker is alos mounted on the oplate for the FT-7800.
