D-Max Canopy Fitout

The shelving was cut from 12mm plywood.
Carpet is marine carpet from Bunnings stick down with Kwik Grip. Tried the spray on the top shelf, and found I needed to use a lot. The edges were stapled all around.
The top shelf is supported by Unistrut 41mm heavy duty. The light weight Unistrut would probably have sufficed.
The shelf on the left hand side was stuck down with liquid Kwik Grip and aluminium angle around each edge.

The centre divider is 12mm plywood and helps support the top shelf to avoid any sag.

Both sides have a divider and shelf.
The left side has 4 FronRunner boxes and the right side has the fire pit.

The right side has the battery and electrical panel with DC-DC charger, switches for lights and power sockets (SB50 and Powerpoles).
There is room for the generator if needed, although we don't normally take it with us. We have it as a temport backup as the car charging for the trainer is now wired up yet.

We changed the fridge in the campertrailer from a dual zone to a single zone as we didn't need the freezer. We still had it lying around so decided to install it in the D-Max for bulk storage, and for frozen goods.

A fridge slide and cable caddy were purchased from Dunn & Watson.

Rivnuts were used to mount the slide to the floor of the canopy. A cable caddy was installed to manage the power cable when sliding the fridge in and out. A bracket had to be made to mount the cable caddy where I wanted it.

Power comes from the canopy battery via an Anderson PP120 connector.

We also upgraded the hinges and latches on the fridge to aluminium ones from Billet Parts. The plastic ones keep breaking, as the lid has a tendency to warp.
