Red Centre Tour Day 4
|

Headed off at 8:35 this morning, driving through wineyard country, passing Banrock Station at Kingston-on-Murray. Stopped at Waikerie and visited Havenhand Chocolates.

Had morning tea on the "Murray River Queen" with a lovely view of the Murray River.

From Waikerie, we crossed on the ferry heading towards Burra via Lock. Stopped at Mt Bryan for lunch. From Mt Bryan we travelled via Peterborough, stopping at the Magnetic Hill. It really does feel like you are rolling uphill.

On to Orroroo and stopped to look at the giant Red Gum. Over 500 years old with a circumference of 10.89m. Arrived at Port Augusta at 5pm and checked into the Port Augusta Big 4 Holiday Park.

We travelled about 450km today.
