D-Max

We changed the fridge in the campertrailer from a dual zone to a single zone as we didn't need the freezer. We still had it lying around so decided to install it in the D-Max for bulk storage, and for frozen goods.

A fridge slide and cable caddy were purchased from Dunn & Watson. Rivnuts were used to mount the slide to the floor of the canopy. A cable caddy was installed to manage the power cable when sliding the fridge in and out. A bracket had to be made to mount the cable caddy where I wanted it.

Power comes from the canopy battery via an Anderson PP120 connector.

We also upgraded the hinges and latches on the fridge to aluminium ones from Billet Parts. The plastic ones keep breaking, as the lid has a tendancy to warp.
