We decided to leave a day earlier in the afternoon (3:30pm) so we could get through Sydney and have an easier drive the next day.

We stopped in Goulburn at the Workers Club for dinner, then on to Guinning showground for the night. Arriving in the dark (9:30pm) made it more challenging to find a suitable spot to park for the night.
